96 Points One of Oregon's most coveted producers of Pinot Noir in the Willamette Valley's rare Reserve Pinot Noir. 97 Points Robert Parker: "Medium ruby, the Domaine Serene Pinot Noir Evenstad Reserve has pure, layered aromas of cranberry, pomegranate and raspberry with accents of tobacco leaves, graphite, mushroom and forest floor. The medium-bodied palate is harmoniously structured and seamless with delicate, perfumed fruit and a very long, spicy finish. This strikes a fine balance between a fruity, savory and earthy character." 96 Points James Suckling: "So much spice is the first impression here, this blended expression is well established as a powerful and complex style of pinot. Fresh red-cherry, potpourri, orange-peel, dried-flower, pomegranate and red and dark-cherry aromas, to name a few. The palate has such concentrated and layered style with dense red-cherry, blueberry and black-cherry flavors, delivered in a seamless build that holds so long. Impressive quality here. Drink or hold." 94 Points Wine Spectator: "The Domaine Serene Evenstad Reserve Pinot Noir is a deep, brooding Pinot that slowly unfolds with expressive black cherry, dusty mocha, clove and other spice flavors that fan out on the long, savory finish. Drink now through 2030" Wine Enthusiast: "Dark, full, generous and ripe to the far edge of elegance, the Domaine Serene Evenstad Reserve Pinot Noir is a powerful Pinot is saturated with black fruits, annoted with fennel, pepper, smoke and espresso, the rich and varied flavors rolling right through a lush midpalate and on into a gently fading finish. Retasted over 24-48 hours, it continued to evolve and develop additional nuances. A wine that can develop like a fine Burgundy to cellar for a decade or more."

Ruby in color with medium intensity and a wide reddish rim. Fresh red berries on the nose and medium in body with medium acidity. Dry on the palate with nice complexity. Showing fresh cherries, sweet raspberries, light wood, tobacco, black pepper, chocolates, spices, light earth and herbs. Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries. This young Pinot Noir from Oregon is starting to drink nicely now, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Rich and fruity, smooth and spicy. Nicely balanced and complex, soft and elegant. I've had a few vintages of this Pinot Noir and it is so much better with age. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. Wine Enthusiasts 93 points. Robert Parker 93 points. Wine Spectator 92 points. A good quality wine. Good right out of the bottle, and better with some airtime. Interesting, easy drinking and a good sipping wine. Pinot Noir grapes were aged in (55% new) French oak barrels for 16 months. 14.1% alcohol by volume. 91 points. $95.

Elegant Ruby color with red fruit aromas and gentle floral spice, aged for about 12 months in French oak, signature blend of grapes from Dundee Hills, Eola-Amity Hills, and Yamhill-Carlton AVA's. On the palate flavors of cherry and black raspberry with notes of herb, licorice and wet stone notes. Soft dusty tannins on a long finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy notes. Very Nice! Drinking well now!
