Dom Perignon is of the highest-rated and best Champagnes anywhere. Forget Cristal and the others, this is the one to buy while it's still available! Very Limited 96 Points Robert Parker: "The 2006 Dom Pérignon comes from a very rich vintage with an early ripeness that brought a lot of aromatic maturity. The white-golden prestige cuvée contains a bit more Chardonnay than Pinot Noir and opens with a deep and seductive, pretty accessible nose with intense yet fresh fruit aromas of pineapples, with peaches and tangerines. Lively and elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied, unusually aromatic and fruity DP with a long and tension-filled expression." The Dom Perignon 2006 Brut Champagne is the latest release from this venerable Champagne house and can easily be aged 20+ years, if you can wait that long. Is this a gift? You can choose a gift card message of your choice during checkout and the wine will be wrapped in tissue paper and accompanied by tasting notes.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2006 pours a deep straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with lovely notes of slightly bruised apple, white flowers, lemon curd, brioche, slivered almond and a mix of chalk and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and creamy. I wish I could drink this all night long. Alas, only a single 750mL and not a Methuselah. Drinking well now and will only be taking on more secondary and tertiary character. But if that’s your thing (and I can get down), this will deliver well past 2036.

Lucid and pretty. Limestone, lime, pear. Fresh but very resolved. Salinity and great minerals. Showing really well

A blend of a tad more Chardonnay than Pinot Noir, nice lemon yellow color with golden edges, aromas of fruit, spice and brioche notes, nice mousse and bubble flow. On the palate flavors of fresh fruit, peaches, pineapple and ripe lemon with hints of toasted nuts and citrus zest. Long finish ending with rich briny yeasty mineral character. Drinks well now but will go another 10+ years!

For the first time there’s signs of age in this and it helps. Rounded and rich but very good balancing acidity. Some delicate light reddish fruit, slate and some spice. A fresh and long finish

A complete and compelling DP, rich nose of toast and yeast, apple core, led a creamy and crisp entry that flowed beautifully to a long finish. Made everyone smile. Ready to rock all put together perfectly.

Fresh and pretty. Oyster shells and slate on the nose. Livid and lively but a little hollow in the middle compared to the ‘96 alongside.
