A fantastic boutique Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara wine country. Limited.92 Points Robert Parker: "Also absolutely gorgeous, the Pinot Noir is an off-the-hook effort that boasts stunning purity of fruit, a rich, full mid-palate and seamless overall integration and balance. Ripe and layered, with spice, barnyard, leather and crushed flowers, it hits the palate with a medium to full-bodied texture that carries ripe tannin, clean acidity and superb length. While there’s good complexity here, it’s all about pure Pinot Noir fruit. It should evolve gracefully on its balance and overall harmony. Drink now-2020.

Have always like this wine which continues to have a low profile. Sleeper.

Gift from Mari & Tom for dinner at our house. LJB liked it and said “most Pinot Noirs don’t do much for me.”

Benefits from breathing, or in my case leaving the cork in an open bottle overnight. Rather rich with black and red fruit, nicely in balance once the initial blast of oak passes. Impressive

2011 - Light, tasty, hint of earth, and not too fruity. Reliable..but not a good value at $44. At $20-25, this would be a go-to reliable Pinot. At this cost, it can't compete with the likes of Foxen's options.

30% new oak for 10 months. Bigger mouth feel. Pairs better with food. Fruitier and easier to drink than drum canyon from same winery. Fuller tannins.

Briight cherry and pomegranate , flavors a bit light for the price, but very nice well made wine.
