Impatient connoisseurs and consumers not willing to defer gratification should steer far clear of this blockbuster, which really requires a decade of cellaring. Kudos to Delectus for making wines that ultimately will prove the magnificent aging potential of what they’re doing in Knights Valley... ...Delectus must be one of the last to bottle their wines, as all of these were bottled toward the end of December 2015. They are all relatively small production cuvées, ranging from a high of 527 cases for the French Wedding Cabernet Sauvignon, 427 cases for the Boulder Falls to a lowly 176 cases for the Cabernet Franc."
