Crafted to showcase the remarkable dynamism, fruit complexity, structure and age-worthiness of this ancient varietal, Darioush Signature Shiraz continues to thrive in the cooler climate locales our estate vineyards in southern Napa Valley. 95 Points Wine Enthusiast: "Full-bodied and exuberant in lush tannins, this black Shiraz is concentrated and rich in hearty leather, espresso and black tea yet buoyed by lively acidity and beautiful streaks of black and white pepper. Enjoy now or through 2021." Tasting Notes: This fruit complexity broadens on the palate with blackberry jam and licorice deftly balanced with hints of baker’s cocoa, espresso and sweet oak. The wine’s exquisite sense of proportion connotes careful vinification techniques, and its supple tannins and lingering finish will reward extended cellaring.
