A small-production gem from Darioush usually available at the winery tasting room only.  Limited. Earth-driven, with plenty of sweet black fruits, the Darioush 2018 Signature Cabernet Franc is described by winemaker Steve Devitt as “the sleeper of the vintage. A bouquet of spiced chai and herbs de Provence overlays plush flavors of blueberry, fig and black currant with notes of cigar box and smoke. A gorgeously textured finish reveals notes of graphite and dusty chocolate.

This bottle over delivers for sure. $65 was an outstanding price for what this brings. Usually not a huge cab franc fan, but this one hits all the marks. Tannins will integrate more over time, but this already tastes smooth. Comes with dark berries and even vanilla undertones. Very nice
