A fantastic new Shiraz/Cabernet blend from Darioush. Limited.Grown from two designated blocks on the Darioush estate in Napa Valley and Oak Knoll, Duel is the idyllic marriage of two distinguished varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.This unique blend combines the deeply satisfying fruit and earthy minerality of Cabernet Sauvignon with the zesty spice and fresh berry fruits inherently found in Darioush Shiraz.Expressing flourishes of allspice and licorice that surround the brambly fruit and bittersweet chocolate at the wine’s core, Duel is broadly textured and finely balanced. Enticing flavors of dried plums and boysenberry overlay notes of French roast coffee and a hint of sweet cigar, with a touch of cinnamon and graphite on the finish.
