New release from former Screaming Eagle winemaker Andy Erickson and an all-star team.  Fantastic find! previous vintage 94 Points Robert Parker: "The Proprietary Red Mad Hatter, 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot, is a big-time winner. It has a gorgeously deep ruby/purple color, a sweet kiss of licorice, blackcurrants, black cherries, camphor and incense. The wine is fragrant, with supple tannins, an opulent lushness and a total hedonistic and intellectual turn-on. Drink it over the next 10-12 years." This fantastic blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot is another outstanding wine crafted by winemaker favorite, Andy Erickson, consulted by Michel Rolland and vineyard manager David Abreu.
