New release from former Screaming Eagle winemaker Andy Erickson and an all-star team.  Fantastic find! previous vintage 94 Points Robert Parker: "The Proprietary Red Mad Hatter, 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot, is a big-time winner. It has a gorgeously deep ruby/purple color, a sweet kiss of licorice, blackcurrants, black cherries, camphor and incense. The wine is fragrant, with supple tannins, an opulent lushness and a total hedonistic and intellectual turn-on. Drink it over the next 10-12 years." This fantastic blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot is another outstanding wine crafted by winemaker favorite, Andy Erickson, consulted by Michel Rolland and vineyard manager David Abreu. Paula Brooks and Bob Cook are the proprietors of Dancing Hares and the stewards of the land that so thoughtfully produces the significantly poised vines at the foot of Howell Mountain.
