Continuum is the new tiny production Cabernet from the Mondavi Family. Very Limited. Rare Magnums now available. 96 Points Robert Parker: "The success of Continuum, a wine from Pritchard Hill made by Tim Mondavi and his sister Marcia, continues unabated. This is a beautiful vintage for Continuum, with a dense bluish/purple color and a beautiful nose of blueberries, violets, a touch of licorice, truffle and background oak. This full-bodied wine displays beautifully sweet and well-integrated tannin as well as loads of forest floor and spice box. A complex, Bordeaux-styled wine, it is approachable and dramatic, even ostentatious, as many 2012s tend to be, so there’s no harm in drinking it now or cellaring it for another 20+ years. " Brix26 Inside Scoop: After the sale of the Robert Mondavi winery, winemaker Tim Mondavi chose to focus on one wine and one varietal: Continuum is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Sourced from Continuum's Estate vineyard on Napa Valley's Pritchard Hill, one of the priciest Cabernet regions in all of California with neighbors like Colgin, Bryant Family and Chappellet. It's a beautiful site and judging from the Continuum 2010 Cabernet will be among Napa's most coveted collector wines.

Easily the wines of the night. Poised and elegant but also rich and complex.

Few friends over last night and what was supposed to a relaxing evening became a drinking free for all and it was a blast but no way posting last night - had this wine previously for 2010 and 11 and first time with 12 - stunning wine and really got things rolling - we killed this bottle like was water after being in the desert for two days - in seconds and @Jody Scharf not a lot of breathing but a lot oh yeahs - a little sweeter than I remember but a great time which leads me to my final seasonal quote from Elf "I like to smile ... smiling is my favorite" and of course this wine is helping so much - PS not smiling as much this morning - belated Merry Christmas to all and to all get some rest

A very complex aroma - blackberry, violet, roses and ginger (cardamom). May I have another?

In contrast to the Chappellet this was rocking although 5 years younger and both from Pritchard Hill. Deep dark fruits, chocolate, black cherry and some oak but very well integrated. I've never opened a Continuum that doesn't kick ass. Young but no reason to wait.
