A fantastic Cabernet from a rising star in the Stags Leap District! Get the stellar new vintage from Cliff Lede while it's available. 93 Points Wine Enthusiast: "So silky and drinkable at the first sip, this well-concentrated wine feels tight and restrained with more tastes, holding its trove of black fruits, cedar, cinnamon and dark chocolate in a rich blanket of extra-fine tannins. Its complexity, layering and lingering finish are something special." 93 Points Jeb Dunnuck: "Readers looking for a great value in Napa Cabernet Sauvignon will love the Cliff Lede 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, a classy, medium to full-bodied, velvety textured beauty offering ample cassis and darker berry fruits, spicy oak, and chocolate notes, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It's not the most complex wine in the lineup, but it delivers absolutely classic Napa Valley goodness. It's perfect for drinking over the coming 10-12 years." At Cliff Lede Vineyards, winemaker Christopher Tynan crafts Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, with the flagship, Poetry Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the steep eastern hillside portion of the estate. In 2015, Cliff Lede Vineyards achieved both Napa Green Land and Napa Green Winery certification.

2021 vintage. Apparently, this wine effectively replaces the “Stags Leap District” cab in the marketplace. The 2019 SLD cab is already drinking beautifully. This 2021 is showing nicely now but not nearly as much depth as the 2019 SLD. Def worth reappraising in a few years tho. 6.20.24.
