This wine is just the second vintage from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Provence estate, Château Miraval, and is possibly the most anticipated release of a rosé ever seen. Hurry before it sells out in a flash. The new summer wine to be seen with!Made in partnership with the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel and featuring a distinctive Champagne punt design, it comes from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah and Rolle (aka Vermentino). It was made using a combination of direct pressing and the saignée method and vinified primarily in stainless vats. Roughly 5% was fermented in oak barrels to give the wine added richness. All grapes for this wine are grown using organic techniques. 91 Points - Five Stars Decanter Magazine: "Lovely floral nose…delicate structure that deepens on the palate…there is a sense of power alongside the elegance, a structure and a fresh acidity that gives the wine persistency, with a grip of minerality that gives a delicious mouthwatering finish."

Last bottle, perhaps the best to date... Maybe it just needed a few years in rest? I'm still trying to get a good read on what rosé we can lay down and have success with, outside of Cotat stuff.

Friday night Tanglewood wine with the BSO playing some Bernstein & Tchaikovsky, Jean-Yves Thibaudet on piano! So Celebrity Rosé... Two of the most favorite words ever uttered by Lyle Fass. I always thought this had good Provence fruit (Thank you Perrin's) at a reasonable price. I'm in the dislike camp on the bottle shape, it doesn't fit any place well, except the recycle bin.

Medium dry with a mildly savoury finish. Nicely balanced, easy drinking and refreshing.

Wow, really good! Pink rose nose, tiny bit funky, chalky, peachy, with a silky mouthfeel and perfect acid. Still quite round on the palate.

It's Rosé and that makes me happy. So light. Strawberry essence. I could drink this alllll summer long, or all winter long.
