Chasseur Lorenzo Chardonnay 2010

Chasseur is a small producer down the road from Kistler that is making some of California's best Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs - discover them while they are still available!  Only 323 cases produced.This is cool-climate vineyard in the Russian River that was first made famous by John Wetlaufer and Helen Turley and subsequently by Landmark Vineyards. The Chasseur 2010 Lorenzo displays exquisite peach, honeyed citrus, orange rind and lemon oil notes with hints of wet rock/minerality. Medium to full-bodied, with stunning concentration, texture, and length, this is a profound Chardonnay to drink over the next 5-7 years, possibly longer.  90 Points Wine Spectator: "Elegant and graceful, with subtle pear, fig, white peach and nectarine notes that are slow to gain depth.
