Cade Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

$79.99

CADE is Plumpjack's hot new winery on Howell Mountain.  Limited. The 2014 vintage was more than ideal in Napa Valley. We had perfect growing condidtions in 2014 with no rain during the harvest months and warm temperatures resulting in wines with amazing color, huge density, and great extration. Robert Parker: "This is a very strong set of wines from Cade, the Howell Mountain sister property of Plumpjack. Winemaker Tony Biagi and his team have crafted a gorgeous set of 2009s and 2010s. The wines are very different stylistically, yet quite similar in terms of quality. The Howell Mountain bottling includes purchased fruit and a dollop of Merlot. The Estate bottling is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, naturally from the estate’s own vineyards, and tends to be vinified with 100% natural malos. Both wines are striking." Brix26 Inside Scoop:  PlumpJack's new winery, Cade, is up on Napa Valley's Howell Mountain and is turning out some fantastricly rich mountain Cabernets.  On your next visit to the Napa Valley we recommend a visit to taste their wines from the stunning views at the winery.
