Elegant and focused with a fine bead, light salmon color, creamy texture and lingering finish. 94 points James Suckling: "An subtle nose with plenty of fine autolysis aromas of fresh bread and sweetly fragrant yeasty notes, plus some gentle spice and chalky notes. The palate unleashes beautiful wild strawberry fruit flavors, super fresh, fleshy and pure. Great balance and depth." 93 points Wine Spectator: "The Billecart-Salmon is a lovely rosé in an almost vinous style, with mouthwatering acidity and a fine, lacy mousse carrying appealing flavors of ripe raspberry, white cherry fruit, star anise, mandarin orange peel and honeysuckle. Lightly chalky on the lasting finish. Enjoy with food. Drink now through 2020." Billecart-Salmon was one of the very first Houses in 1954 to believe in a Rosé style in Champagne. Made with between 30-40% reserve wines. The dosage is 7-8 grams. This cuvée unveils a subtle aroma leading to an elegant, delicate bouquet of fine notes of red fruits and citrus fruit zest. The NV Brut Blancs de Blancs is a very pretty, classy wine. Citrus, white flowers, slate, crushed rocks and white pepper abound. This vibrant, steely NV Blanc de Blancs is quite impressive, and also demonstrative of the new style at Billecart-Salmon. This release is based on 2017, with 23% reserve wines from 2016. It was done entirely in tank, with partially blocked malolactic fermentation. Dosage is 1.2 grams per liter. Disgorged: second trimester 2023. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2024)

An immaculately golden color in the glass with vigorous perlage. At first the nose is resplendent with floral aromas. Just so, so very pretty. Freshly baked bread, lemon peel, and just the faintest hint of cinnamon. Stone fruit, mint, and rosemary to boot. Pure Chardonnay from the four Grand Cru villages of Mesnil, Chouilly, Avize, and Cramant. Aged for up to five years on lees with a dosage of 8 g/l. Exquisite and as graceful as a ballerina, this is easily one of the best NV Blanc de Blancs around. Silky smooth but with tension and excitement for days. Exceedingly pure and vibrant. Let it sit for a while and those gorgeous floral accents begin to fade and the fruit becomes more noticeable. Citrus and stone fruits with a touch of pepper. The finish is long and lovely. I could drink this every single day.

Lovely subdued & restrained nose, with ripe lemons, more shortbread than brioche, cool & fresh limestone minerality, nice breadth & freshness. On the palate this has such a lovely creamy mouthfeel, ultra fine bubbles, tiny & persistent. Fresh, juicy acidity, ripe, sweet lemons galore. There’s tension, there’s depth, great complexity but also so elegant. Such a beautiful wine! Happy New Year!!
