Sure, we tease Les and call him the Blender Boy, because playing around and blending lots is what he loves to do, and he does it from the gut. Well, his gut was spot on this time around for sure! The 2018 Blender Boy is a wine of great intensity and impressive balance. Woodsy notes of cedar and bark, meld with juicy blackberry and spiced plum flavors all wrapped in polished and well-integrated tannins, kept lively with pitch perfect acidity. Broad and lush on the finish, this wine is a fine example of what the exceptional 2018 vintage has to offer. 55% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Sirah, 10% Merlot,10% Petit Verdot. Only 290 cases produced.
