Hot new boutique producer from Sonoma label. A rising start to watch!96 Points Robert Parker: "The Proprietary Red Pagani Heritage rivals the incredible 2012. An ancient vineyard of mixed black grapes planted in the 1880s, this full-bodied, multifaceted wine offers a stunning display of blue, red and black fruits intermixed with floral notes, a juicy, exuberant personality, and, most importantly, a boatload of pleasure. Drink it over the next decade...Morgan Twain Peterson continues to produce a fascinating array of wines from old vine sites throughout California. His 2012s demonstrated what a remarkable young talent he is, and the 2013s detailed below continue his Midas touch with a diversity of grapes as well as historical heritage sites."

Plump berries, light oak, smooth texture, building tannins, nice finish.

Big fat purple drank loaded with fruit. Quite young but quite enoyable.

Deep, concentrated, and a little wound up. Wish we had more to taste over the next day or so. Lots of dark fruits and spices. Cassis, black plum, blackberries, figs, cherry skin, orange, violets, ash, blk peppercorn, hint of balsamic. Lovely acid/tannin profile for the body and depth of the wine.

Pretty fruit forward at the moment . Mostly blue fruit. Solid structure though fruit makes this pretty accessible now. Bit more spice and bramble comes out with air.
