Rare Chardonnay release from Beaux-Freres owner Mike Etzel. Tiny production. From Star Mooring vineyard (planted by Mike D. Etzel in 2014), along with a few carefully selected parcels tucked in other ideal corners of the Willamette Valley. As if directed by Leonard Bernstein, this harmonious wine delivers orchestral balance despite its youth. An Old World-esque depth of flavor and low alcohol ensure graceful aging for 7 - 10 more years. Just 268 cases produced. Tasting Notes: Meadowfoam honey and Lemon verbena aromatics are followed by bees wax and a waft of citrus flower. This is truly a nectar of sunlight across the palate, with bright, energetic freshness.

Super excited by this Chardonnay. Just bottles in February and it's already a stunner. Beautiful aromas of lemon, curd, spice. Palate is has a wonderful slightly creamy texture and balanced with good acidity and bright lift. Dangerous with how drinkable it is now. Need a case to hide away for sure.
