Limited new Pinot release from one of California's top producers Aubert. 93+ Points Robert Parker:  "The tightest of the three Pinot Noirs, was the 2015 Pinot Noir UV-SL. This Pinot Noir, made from equal parts Calera and a Vosne-Romanée clone, shows terrific fruit intensity, slightly higher acids and more tannin in a more backward style. It certainly needs time to fully unleash its considerable personality, and in a way, it seemed to suffer in comparison with its two more flamboyant siblings. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2032."

+1 hour decant(some fine/cloudy sediment). A radiant dark ruby red color. On the nose: cherry, cedar, dried herbs, hint of vanilla, plum,floral. Taste: rich, smooth mouthcoating wine with dark cherry, baking spice, earth, cloves, minerals and a nice long finish. YUM! Goes great with the Thanksgiving roasted chicken and bread salad.

Love the finesse and strength of this wine. It blew my mind. Super silky, with an extremely long finish. Feels less fruit forward than other Aubert SV. I became a true fan of Aubert, both chards and pinots are amazing!
