Araujo Estate Altagracia Napa Valley Syrah 2010

Limited new Altagracia Syrah from cult producer Aruajo. On the nose, floral notes of violet, lavender and jasmine mix with aromas of blueberry, blackberry, smoked meat and white pepper. On the palate, the generous core of ripe berry and roasted game is set on a firm, structured frame and balanced with fine tannins. Spicy notes of anise and black pepper enliven the long, mineral finish. Notes winemaker Nigel Kinsman: This Syrah is a highly fragrant wine loaded with scents of dark berries nuanced by hints of white pepper.
