The Aperture Cabernet Sauvignon is a silky, concentrated expression of the great Cabernet vineyard sites in Alexander Valley.  A beautiful mixture of red and dark fruits are combined with spice, earth, and a bit of dark chocolate on the finish. This wine showcases a unique balance of richness and focused natural bright acidity that only the great sites and vintages can create. Produced from exceptional Alexander Valley Cabernet (96%) and Malbec (4%). previous vintage 94 Points Robert Parker: "A barrel sample, the deep garnet-purple colored Aperture Cabernet Sauvignon springs forth from the glass with vibrant black cherries, cassis and warm plums scents, backed up by hints of spice box, cedar chest, dark chocolate and tilled soil. Winemaker Jesse Katz has worked with Bob Foley at Hourglass and at Screaming Eagle, working alongside renowned winemaker Andy Erickson.
