Inaugural release New Pinot Release from A.P. Vin, one of Pinot's hottest up and coming labels and sourced from the Sun Chase Vineyard in the Sonoma Coast. 92 Points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2016 Sun Chase Vineyard is terrific stuff and leads with its fruit. Raspberries, strawberries, bubble gum, mint, and spring flower notes all emerge from the glas and it hits the palate with a medium-bodied richness, a pretty, elegant texture, good acidity and a clean finish. Comign from a southwest hillside vineyard in the Petaluma Gap, drink this juicy effort over the coming 5-6 years. 125 cases produced." A.P. Vin is a small-production winery based in San Francisco. Winemaker/owner Andrew P. Vingiello started the company in 2003 and made it his full-time gig in 2005. The wines he makes are single-vineyard Pinot Noir from some of the best sites in California like this limited Garys’ Vineyard release from the Santa Lucia Highlands.
