A.P. Vin Rosella's Vineyard Pinot Noir 2013

$49.99

New Pinot Release from A.P. Vin, one of Pinot's hottest up and coming labels and sourced from the famous Rosella's Vineyard. 95 Points Robert Parker: "Tasted out of barrel, the 2013 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard looks to be the most impressive of the 2013s. Showing medium to full-bodied richness, sweet tannin and good concentration, with solid dark fruits, ground herbs, licorice and even hints of meatiness, it builds nicely in the glass and has tons of potential. It should drink nicely on release and have 8-10 years of overall longevity...The young and talented Andrew Vingiello continues to make superb single vineyard Pinot Noirs under his AP Vin label. Described as a "post card" vintage by Andrew, these 2013s showed beautifully from barrel, and were all outstanding from bottle." A.P. Vin is a small-production winery based in San Francisco. Winemaker/owner Andrew P. Vingiello started the company in 2003 and made it his full-time gig in 2005. The wines he makes are single-vineyard Pinot Noir from some of the best sites in California like this limited Garys’ Vineyard release from the Santa Lucia Highlands.

not bad for a Cali Pinot. spice, earth, and fruit. young, but a bit of age would probably work wonders......confused on high alcohol content.....could be toned downed
