Adaptation is a great new Petite Sirah from the folks at PlumpJack's Odette Estate. Limited. The Adaptation Petite Sirah Napa Valley is loaded with depth, superior concentration and a multitude of layers. It possesses aromatics of blackberry jam, plums, violets, and hints of brown sugar and nutmeg followed by raspberries, cloves and smoky oak on the palate. The Adaptation Petite Sirah is crafted from two complementary vineyards that showcase unique expressions of one grape. Our latest acquisition, Oso Vineyard, nestled into the warm, dry east side of the Vaca Mountains, provides power and depth. Langtry Vineyard, located in the very northeastern corner of the Napa Valley, adds layers of ripe fruit and energy. These two vineyards marry together perfectly by combining power and elegance to create an approachable expression of what can otherwise be an intimidating varietal.
