Pretty damn Burgundian effort here. Sappy cherry fruit, almost cherry liqueur-like, forest floor, crushed rock, a little baking spice. Intense yet nearly weightless in the mouth. Tannin resolved, great acids. Surprisingly low alcohol (12.4%). Very nice.

light translucent ruby; black cherry, herbs, no new oak signature; subdued tart cranberry fruit, prominent savory elements, licorice, very herbal finish; relatively light bodied, bright acidity, bit of fine grained tannin, 12.4% ABV; blend of 6 vineyards in Petaluma Wind Gap of southern Sonoma Coast including Gap’s Crown, Sunchase, Parliament Hill, Griffin’s Lair, Bootlegger’s Hill, and Castelli; wild yeast fermentation in concrete, significant stem inclusion; respectable entry level cool climate Pinot but a bit green/stemmy and lacking typical California fruit

Strawberries and cherries, pepper, low tannins. Not too complex but very enjoyable

Muted red fruit on the nose, though as it began to breathe it revealed more typical Pinot noir perfume. Palate was earthy, spicy and had a wonderfully bright acid lift. The acid carried to a lingering finish.

Juicy black cherry, great acidity, delicious & easy to drink, and at a great price.

Color of ruby, light and clear. Nose of fresh sweet berries, cranberry, spice almost cinnamon like, wood and pine cone ornaments, and fermented plum. Taste of lavish acidity, polished with berries flavors not standing out too much (except some light cherry and plum) some Unami note, some wet mushrooms, zest, a bit peppery and mineral, and low tannins. Clean yet complex. Aftertaste has more warmth, a bit minty, zesty, citrus skin, and peppery. Nicely done.
