Ruby in color with a reddish rim. Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity. Dry on the palate with nice complexity. Showing cherries, raspberries, spices, light oak, licorice, chocolates, tobacco, herbs and peppercorn. Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries. Rich and powerful. Balanced and easy drinking. I've had this wine a few times before and it is very consistent. Still young and needs at least 5 years in the bottle to mature. 14% alcohol by volume. 91 points.
