Very nice evolution in the cellar. Wonderful tannic integration, dark fruit, and some Smokey notes.

Soft bouquet gives way to a rich glass of complexity. Dark red fruit, tannic rightness, and Smokey barrel notes. Likely good for years to come.

Smell is muted. First taste is dark. Vegetation and tobacco. Some sharpness. Could use a good decant. Since I have no time, the Vinturi will have to do. Post Vinturi. The nose is coming out. Some fruit but not overpowering. With more time, there are more smells coming out. The Vinturi soften the wine, takes some of the sharpness away. There is a lot of dark fruits and vegetation...But it’s just full bodied. Not sweet. If I had time I would have decanted. Wine is 9.0+
