Dark inky in color, with a beautiful pronounced nose. Medium plus in body with medium acidity. Very fruity on the palate with nice complexity. Showing red and black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, earth, chocolates, tobacco, cola, coffee and peppercorn. Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries. This delicious Syrah from Napa Valley is still very young, and needs 5 years in the bottle to mature properly, but already drinking beautifully. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Showing good potential to become a 94+ point wine. Rich, extracted and fruit forward. Showing good balance and elegance. I've had a few vintages of this wine before, and it is very consistent. A great sipping wine. A blend of 90% Syrah with 10% Petite Sirah. Aged in all new French oak barrels for 20 months. 15.8% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $100.
