Located in the Rutherford District of Napa. Aromas of stone fruits with toasty citrus notes. On the palate the fruit shows nicely with Asian pears and crisp apples, with plenty of citrus zest. The long finish had some mineral notes, sweet vanilla spice and yeasty nutty oak, very nice. I should note that this wine did not go through malolactic fermentation in order to maintain its beautiful fruit and mineral notes. Grapes are mostly from Dijon and Wente clones grown in Carneros. Nice value.

Always a good lower priced staple. Definitely see the space between this and others we’ve been drinking but good quality and taste for the price.
