I'm not going to even try to pull this apart for a tasting note, as the flavours are so numerous and layered that it would be futile to yry. Let's just say that the 50% OH is hidden beautifully behind walls of flavour and textures.

Deep notes of rich, golden honeycomb, espresso, and cocoa. This was one of the very first bourbons I ever purchased, and here we are several years (and multiple bottles) later and I’m still keeping their stuff in my liquor inventory because it’s just that delicious, especially for the price point.

This afternoon/evening was our first of two baby showers. Not only were we surrounded by friends & family, but we were also surrounded by some good wine & other drinks. This was one of the selections at our whisk(e)y & cigar bar. . Last time I had this was back at university - was nice to circle back on it so many years later.
