Sipping Fine Wine Delectable Pro

Last ‘16 bottle. A blend of 85% Cab Sauv, 7% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot & 3% Cab Franc. Deep Ruby with aromas of fresh dark fruits and some minty notes. The palate shows plums, blackberries and black cherries with sweet spice and notes of cacao. This is a consistent wine and a good value, this is my house Cab. The finish has good length, firm tannins, on the smoother side, and is well balanced. Past it’s prime drink now.

Nose like a classic Merlot but pallet and tannins like a Cabernet Sauvignon. Definitely needs to breathe and softer when it is paired with fatty meat

Drank at the Courtyard Marriott in the hot tub after dinner at Leadbelly. We liked it but we’d had a fair amount to drink by then...
