The 28th vintage of this vineyard with the ravenswood label on it and one of the best wrought in a long time. Resinous spice, deep fruit, and remarkably lush (very 2012). May not be the longest lived wine made from this amazing vineyard but it's certainly delish. Happy 68th birthday pop!

Nailed it with Vietnamese "shaken beef". Medium bodied, smooth tannins, slightly chalky, raisins, slight prune, pepper, and big on fruit. Historically this one is an ager... so patience if you can. Better the second day.

A fruit bomb with rich spicy notes. Light in body, with a crisp finish. The mint character gives it a very clean aroma that would be delicious with lamb.
