Popped and poured; enjoyed over a couple of hours. The 2022 pours a garnet color with a transparent core. Medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is youthful with notes of pomegranate, cranberry, strawberry and raspberry compote, red flowers, and gravely minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium and just a touch hot. Not the most memorable Langhe Nebbiolo from Produttori in the last decade or so but it’s totally authentic and still a great value. Drink now and over the next 5-10 years.

I think Produttori’s langhe is one of all time best values every year and this is no exception. This has great red and a smidge of purple fruit. Tannins are quite present but with a bit of air they fall into balance (though this could certainly take time). Excellent pairing with a simple but high quality pork chop. Very nice acid on the finish. Really enjoyable.

Needs time in the glass. Tannic, acidic, roses and orange peel. Red fruits. Herbs.

Always a solid standby- just rich enough, balanced. But many times left with the idea that if it was just a touch more complex it would be epic. But really, it’s more than good enough, it’s amazing.

Green apple and cranberry aroma with a very light green apple note that fades quickly. Very tart and acidic taste

Nice bouquet of violet, subtle spice. Cherry, herbal and earthy. Liked it better on the second day. Touch hot on the first.

Bursting with bright cherry flavors that give way to earthy and herbal notes as the flavors develop. Straightforward and delicious. Great midweek pairing with penne bolognese.
