Showing really well. Allowed to breathe 30 minutes. Earthy nose of tomato leaf, balsamic and sage. Plenty of depth and good weight on the palate. Powerful and ripe style of Brunello.

Taken to Enzo in Carmel. Dark reddish tawny with some amber in the rims. Nice nose that seems slightly sweet for a brunello. Dried cherries, earth, plum, some cigar leaf and wood. Not overly complex in the mouth but fruit and structure are there. Nice round finish. Decent. Don’t see this getting better with more age.

Incredible nose of pink flowers and woodsy dark cherry. Sour cherry, tar, cedar and tobacco in spades. Dry as a bone but balanced with the fruit. Sooooo very nice...last bottle of a half case but this is peaking, more down than upside - but when it's this good why take the chance?
