Sipping Fine Wine
Clean deep Ruby red, with aromas of red and black fruit and gentle spice adding oak and leather. The palate shows blackberry, cranberry and cherry flavors with toasty oak. The wine is well balanced with fine tannins and acidity to match. Some cacao and earthy minerality brings this wine to a lingering finish. Need to decant this 2013 to fully enjoy!

Great wine, because of the name.

Better than the 2012, this delightful PN has nice spice, pepper, raspberry, anise and herb flavors. Paired great with a Swiss Chard-pine nut tart.

Oh my! Such a great Pinot ; probably the best I've had. Solid front loaded flavor and strong finish

Do you lik-a the extraction and the wood? Then you lik-a the wine.

I admit to being a big Pahlmeyer fan. Their wines impress regardless of variety or grape. This Jayson Pinot has not been my favorite, preferring their Red Blend or anything from their flagship Pahlmeyer label. However, this young wine opened beautifully. Dark cherry and blackberry tones with a smooth, caressing balance that should improve over time. A solid wine for a mid priced label. Cheers!!
