My man Sydney at Cork & Keg told me to buy this wine, and I do what Sydney says so that he'll order what I ask him to. I've passed by this wine 100 times because I didn't like the label. But, you can't always judge a wine by its label. Look at Bionic Frog. This is really good! It's a steak wine. Bold, nicely structured, and plenty going on flavor-wise. Big dark fruit, smoke, cedar, focused acidity and firm tannins. It's a winner. And the bottle weighs like 7 pounds. Listening to David Lowery's solo record. It's so, so good.
