Many of you that see my posts know I don’t open a Napa Cabernet this young. However, this was selling at my Costco for $69.99. K&L Wine Merchants $99.99. Delectable at $115. So, I had to buy a four. I coravined this bottle for a Somm friend last weekend who likes his Napa reds young.

Staple in our house for weeknights. PNP. Black and red fruit, tannins are big but round and chalky, nice big and chewy mouthfeel. Good finish length. See my other comments but this excellent wine at a great price.

We had the 2018 Vintage on 6/17-18/23. Nice bouquet and tastes of blackberry, graphite oak and leather. This is a young wine that needed aeration. It needs aging as well. This is different from a Napa floor wine

Inky dark purple. Nice floral nose. Ripe black fruit, grippy plush tannins. Doesn’t need a whole lot of air time Really enjoyable and very well structured. Probably one of the best at this price point. Carpenter has really done well here.
