Can last for many years but this current 2009 vintage is pleasing right now!

Big, bold, and beautiful. Baked plums, black cherry, leather, cinnamon bark, crushed cloves, and a little dry dustiness on the palate from the ample tannins. Love the French oak on this wine.

I mistook this wonderful wine for fine Bordeaux (during a blind tasting). Complex and delicious, a fine QPR wine...

Leathery, tannic, blackberry, nice structure. Great choice for dinner here in Memphis after UCLA's loss today.

Relaxing at home with one of the best wines I've had in a while. Tart, almost tangy cherry flavor with a little spice and heavy notes of tabbaco. Delicious!

This is officially one of my favorite wines. The first time I bought it it came to me cooked. The second batch I got was amazing it is much like the Mastroberadino aglianico Campania. However it's much more subtle and complex. There's elements of smoke and dark fruit and tobacco. It drinks almost like a really good Maduro cigar smokes. In fact I would go as far to say it is the wine equivalent to the Rocky Patel Edge Maduro. It goes down easy despite having a fairly full body. I don't know if it's worth the price of the $50 range however I would very easily shell out $35 to $40 for this item.

Very old world on the nose with notes of dark berry fruit and earth. Beautiful acidity with nice tannins that don't overwhelm. Finish is short to medium.
