Baga dominated nose, with tart sour cherry, raspberry, some aronia and the quite characteristic stony graphite note. Not too heavy, fresh and quite enticing. As always, reminds me of Blaufränkisch. The palate is somewhat different - light bodied but with quite present tannins and racy acidity. Not much substance though to fill that frame. So it turns out quite ascetic I can imagine this working nicely with a hearty stew or pork sausages. Otherwise, this is just barely pleasant. Technically proper. Won’t be buying it again.
