Did you ever have the experience of dating someone who ticked all the right boxes but was just not quite interesting enough to commit a longer relationship to? This is my feeling for this premier cru from Louis Latour (lucky last name to have in the French wine business). Clean- but a bit too clean/filtered. Balanced, with a nice nuance of the right Chablis messages balanced with a touch of acid - it's hard to criticize this wine but it's just not very unique. No standout factor. Just like that date.

Not sure why all the haters on delectable for this one. Nice white burgundy for $25. Almost would have guessed Chablis but the more exuberant juiciness and relative lack of minerality provides at least some indication it’s not that. Unbesmirched by oak (in a very good way).
