Decanted for 2.5 hours. Never smoothed out. Too rough for me. I like a smoother Brunello. On the palate, structured (acid-driven). High acid, medium plus tannins, medium plus body, dark cherry on the midpalate. It’s got good extraction but it’s a bit lumbering - the structure doesn’t quite contain the ripeness. $30 from Zachys. Maybe will develop with age.
