Deep Amber colour, rich fruit, nice little acid twang. Although something a little plastic about the finish.

An amazing dessert wine. Apricot, peach, honey, flowers. Had a long life. Hope to find and try older vintages.

It’s a lusciously sweet wine, as expected. You could say Vin de Constance is a Southern Hemisphere answer to the more famous dessert wines of Europe, and it really feels and tastes the part. It’s more exuberant and rich than, say, a Sauternes. I was struck by candied citrus peels and tropical fruits, with bright acidity and a thick, lush body. It lacks the complexity of a Sauternes, but you don’t miss it. The balanced, yet indulgent sweetness is plenty. #laterwine
