On this Saturday night I have opened the 2018 Joseph Drouhin Côte de Nuits-Villages. On the nose there is cherry, strawberry, cranberry, cinnamon, slight smokiness and underbrush. On the palate I am getting notes of cherry, raspberry, strawberry, hibiscus, mushroom, vanilla and earthiness. This wine is medium to full bodied with medium + acidity and medium + firm fine frained tannins with a long red fruit tannic finish.
