2009 vintage. Deep purple hue. This is very alcoholic and spirity. Tan leather, chocolate, cinnamon and dark berries. Prunes and dates. On the palate, full body, high high alcohol, deep concentration of dark cherry and black currants. Big, big wine. Not my style - very extracted and heavy. But has some complexity. Wouldn't touch for another 5 years although I would be worried that this wine might fall apart as it's lopsided. Drink 2020-2025.
