Dark purple in color with a short purple rim. Sweet nose with blue and black fruits. Dry on the palate with a touch of RS. Showing black plums, cooked cherries, spices, light oak, licorice, chocolates and herbs. Drinking nicely now with mild complexity. Would be nice to revisit it in a year or two. Easy drinking and a good party wine. Wine Enthusiasts 90 points. A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot. Aged in (35% new) French Oak barrels for 18 months. 14.1% alcohol by volume. 89 points. $25.
