Had this about 3 years ago. Graham Beck entering its third generation as a family winery, established in 1983 when entrepreneur Graham Beck purchased Madeba farm outside the Western Cape town of Robertson. About a 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, aromas of tropical fruits and biscuit notes, vivid crisp acidity on medium+ finish ending with yeasty notes. Nice value.

My first South African sparkler (our neighbor has a house there and brought all SA wines to dinner). This 56/44 Pinot/Chardonnay was great. Very easy drinking, brioche, pear and a touch of honey/sweetness on the palate. A definite crowd pleaser.

Citrusy, yeasty, bubbly goodness! Wonderful wine to get ready for the La Soirée event...I just realized we should probably be drinking a French Champagne. Ah, no worries! This is almost just as good at a fraction of the price.
