A Cote Rotie of Barolo’s.......super long taste, light, intense fruit concentration....

Rinaldi is always great. 2012 is very approachable now and I don’t feel that I’m short changing it. Clearly it could last a while but this was very enjoyable tonight.

Quite aromatic and actually a lot more open than I would have expected even for a 2012 . Floral and ripe cherry fruit , licorice character as well. Still quite elegant in the mouth , lots of ripe fruit and a steak of balancing refreshing acidity. More red fruits than black , raspberry , red cherry. There is a kick for quite grippy tannins at the end though they are sweet and not out of balance . Lovely long finish with a rose and floral note. Excellent and surprisingly enjoyable straight from the bottle.
