As often happens, Delectable has the blend wrong on this orange wine - no pinot noir, it is made from Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc and Viognier; it’s a dazzling example of how good orange wine can be when made by a competent winemaking team. It’s a 12.5%abv brut nature, has a creamy mouthfeel and is an exceptional accompaniment to any cheese among other foods. Notes of apple, pear, lemon and tangerine are bolstered by crisp acidity that gives the wine refreshing lift. It’s fun and it’s delicious - perfect for any gathering.
