Other DOC and DOCG wines produced in this area, Barbera d'Alba, Barolo Barbaresco, Dolcetto d'Alba. Blackberries, mint, pencil lead on the nose. Great structure, mouth drying tannins, plum, blackberries, and spices. really nice.
