Tome III: "Amnésie" (100% syrah) pays d'oc, Stéphanie et Olivier Ramé 2022. Very fruity nose with blackberry, black cherry, a touch of licorice, some leather notes and a bit of heat too. The palate is made of a strong acid drive, some width, some blackberry notes all along, a soft mouthfeel that changes abruptly in the rear with tannins kicking in and laying a drying effect all over the fruit forward finish that lasts for quite a while. It's very simple but well done. It lacks a bit of matter and concentration to be great. A nice casual sipper. Certified organic wine.
